Adults Need Shots, Too!

Adults need vaccinations and boosters throughout their lifetimes. Ask your doctor which immunizations you might need. Visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for recommended vaccination schedules for all ages:


Hand Over Hepatitis A


Hepatitis A is a nasty virus that one hand can pass to another—that's why clean hands help keep you healthy. Eating raw oysters or undercooked clams also increases your chances of getting hepatitis A. Read more to find out a few other places hepatitis A can be a problem.



Manage Your Stress

The sources of our stress change throughout life. But one thing doesn't: it's damaging effects on our health. Chronic tension boosts the risk for heart disease, obesity, skin conditions, autoimmune diseases and even suicide, among other ills. Looking for ways to beat stress? Try these activities:
